Tommy Berry to move to Hong Kong

 May 16 2017

Tommy Berry is tipped to move to Hong Kong on permanent basis later this year.

The international star, who partnered Chautauqua to three successive victories in the Group 1 T J Smith Stakes (1200m) is unable to comment due to Hong Kong Jockey Club regulations.

Berry had previously asked the media to respect the “protocol” of the HKJC however the South Morning China Post ran a story on Tuesday.

Berry’s no stranger to Hong Kong racing having won the Chairmans Sprint on Chautauqua and multiple Group 1 victories aboard former Horse Of The Year Designs On Rome.

It is expected John Moore will utilise his services.
